Pay: Paid per billable hour ($45 per billable hour) and administrative hour ($20 per administrative hour)
About Us
Zen Therapy Behavioral Health Services is a trauma-informed private practice that values inclusivity, compassion, and cultural humility. We are currently seeking an Associate Therapist (AMFT, ASW, or APCC) to join our growing team.
You’ll receive high-quality supervision from Zenaida “Zen” McNally, LMFT, an EMDR Certified clinician who enjoys treating childhood trauma, domestic violence survivors, and substance abuse recovery. Zen supports clinicians in developing strong skills with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and provide ongoing psychotherapy (individual, couples, and family).
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in individual supervision and team meetings.
- Perform administrative tasks related to client care.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards as outlined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
Requirements
- Active California BBS registration (AMFT, ASW, or APCC).
- Current professional liability insurance.
- Reliable computer with webcam and microphone for telehealth sessions.
- Availability for at least 15 clients per week
- Evening and/or weekend availability is manditory
Compensation
- Billable hours: $45/billable hour. Paid per completed 53-minute client session.
- Administrative hours: $20/administrative hour. 1 paid administrative hour per every 10 clients for documentation and administrative tasks.
- Supervision: 1 paid hour of supervision per every 10 clients, compensated at the administrative hourly rate.
