WCS Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals in a medium‑security female facility in Marcy, NY. RNs deliver direct patient care, conduct assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independence, and the ability to work safely within a secure correctional environment.
Conduct health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatments
Diagnose and treat responses to actual or potential health problems
Perform case‑finding, health teaching, and counseling
Provide restorative and supportive care to maintain patient well‑being
Supervise and train Graduate Nurses, LPNs, and direct care staff
Consult with treatment teams on nursing matters
Participate in interdisciplinary care teams and health‑related committees
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols
Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Active New York State RN License (no exceptions)
BLS required
Ability to pass the State Criminal History Clearance
Ability to attend an in‑person interview
