Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in an enthusiastic and welcoming manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring accuracy by re-reading back to guests
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive service
- Handle cash transactions using a personal bank
- Clear and clean tables efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Utilize POS system to enter orders accurately
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, procedures, and offerings
- Offer lateral service to all of your teammates
- Maintain knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Server in the food industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Will be required to complete TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) Alcohol Training within 30 days of employment
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
