At the State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS), we are currently looking for a qualified individual to fill one vacancy as a General Trades Worker at J.M. Wright Technical High School, in Stamford, CT.
Position Highlights:

- First (1st) Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:30am-2:30pm

In your role as a General Trades Worker, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform highly skilled maintenance and/or construction work requiring the application of trade skills, codes and standard practices in a variety of trade areas including but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVACR, glazing, masonry, painting work etc
- Make estimates of time, personnel, and material required on assigned tasks
- Keep necessary records
- Perform snow removal duties and schoolwide landscaping duties
- Perform related duties as required

For over 100 years, CTECS has been the leading force in Career Technical Education (CTE) in the State of Connecticut. CTECS operates 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs.
