We are seeking an experienced and passionate Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure a high-quality customer experience in a vibrant coffee shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, team management, and a deep appreciation for coffee culture. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of service and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgeting to maintain profitability.
- Handle cash management, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food production and service areas.
- Coordinate catering services for events and manage banquet operations as needed.
- Engage with customers to build relationships and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and coffee culture.
- Proven experience in team management within a restaurant or café setting.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, including POS systems.
- Ability to create budgets and manage financial aspects of the business effectively.
- Experience in catering services and banquet management is a plus.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
