Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a hotel setting. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are kept clean, organized, and welcoming for residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms and area surrounding desinated assigned rooms, includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed to maintain cleanliness and freshness.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to ensure all surfaces are well-maintained.
- Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal and restroom sanitation.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required based on the needs of the facility or clients.
