Overview
We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and engaging 1:1 Travel Learning Instructor in the Greater Riverview area to provide individualized academic support for students with a variety of learning needs. While you'll work with both neurotypical learners and learners with exceptionalities, experience working with learners with autism is required, as many of our students benefit from specialized instructional strategies and individualized support.

What You'll Do
- Provide individualized academic instruction in our learning center.
- Work with learners with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and neurotypical learners.
- Adapt instruction to meet each student's academic, behavioral, communication, and sensory needs.
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families.
- Reinforce executive functioning, confidence, and independent learning skills.
- Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the Lotus Learning team.
- Create engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
- Maintain a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment.

- Has experience working with learners with autism.
- Is comfortable supporting both neurotypical learners and learners with exceptionalities.
- Understands that every learner is unique and deserves individualized support.
- Is patient, adaptable, and creative.
- Can build strong relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Is dependable, organized, and eager to continue learning.
- Enjoys making learning fun while maintaining high expectations.
- Has stable means of transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one) in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience teaching or tutoring elementary and/or middle school students.
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and positive behavior supports.
- RBT certification, ESE certification, or related experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule
- Primarily afternoon and evening hours.
- Part-time with opportunities for additional hours as enrollment grows.
Pay
$22.00–$27.00 per hour, based on education, certifications, and experience.
