Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support team members in food preparation, serving, and other duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurants is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
