Dishwashing: Efficiently clean and sanitize all kitchenware, including dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware, using proper cleaning agents and techniques by machine and hand when necessary.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including the dishwashing area, floors, and equipment.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain dishwashing equipment, such as the dishwasher, to ensure optimal performance, and report any and all issues to management.
Waste Management: Properly dispose of food waste and recyclable materials according to restaurant guidelines.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Adherence to Standards: Comply with all health and safety regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures.
