Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and recommend effective solutions.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal building codes and safety standards.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Collaborate with team members and support apprentices or junior technicians as needed.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
EPA 608 Certification required (or ability to obtain).
Proven experience in HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and customer service mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
