We're seeking a professional and caring individual to join our patient-centered orthopedic practice. This position will be located in our outpatient clinics.
Day shift Monday-Friday!
What You’ll Do
As a Patient Care Technician, you will serve as the eyes and ears of our nursing team, delivering hands-on care and emotional support. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in a medical office setting
- Computer literacy in an electronic medical record application
- Experience with, suture removal, cast/splint applications and FMLA paperwork precertification of MRI, CT, and DME orders
- Patient phone triage calls
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive and upbeat attitude and outstanding organizational skill
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Education: We welcome applications from a range of certified or licensed healthcare professionals. Such individuals include certified registered medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, and certified athletic trainers. Requirements include:
- License: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) / CPR certification.
- Experience: at least 1–2 years of work experience in a medical office setting. Experience with suture removal, cast/splint applications and FMLA paperwork precertification of MRI, CT, and DME orders
- Soft Skills: A compassionate, upbeat attitude, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
