How you'll make an impact in this role:
- Perform routine and complex ultrasound procedures to examine tissue and body structures, while accurately recognizing significant anatomy, pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations.

Configure and manually maneuver ultrasound equipment, monitor for proper functionality, report malfunctions to appropriate personnel, and implement necessary lockout/tagout procedures.

Implement safety standards and quality control measures, ensuring the prompt, accurate submission of high-quality images and patient history to PACS while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment by ensuring procedure rooms, storage areas, and all other department facilities are kept in orderly condition.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One or more of the following required:
-
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
- Fetal Echo certification strongly preferred.
