The Grapevine Cafe is looking for an energetic, dependable, and team-oriented Busser / Back Waiter to help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in providing excellent support to our front-of-house team.
As a Busser / Back Waiter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our dining room operates smoothly by keeping tables clean, assisting servers, and helping deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Quickly and efficiently clear, clean, and reset tables.
- Assist servers by delivering food, beverages, bread, and condiments as needed.
- Refill guest beverages such as water, tea, and soft drinks when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room, beverage stations, and service areas.
- Stock plates, silverware, glassware, napkins, and other service supplies.
- Assist with opening, running, and closing side work.
- Support servers and bartenders during busy meal periods.
- Help maintain a clean and organized restaurant that exceeds health and sanitation standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Work as part of a team to ensure every guest has an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Weekend and evening availability is required.
- Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals.
Pay: $7.50 - $8.00 per hour
