Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Information Technology, The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing in-house software tools including but not limited to EZ-CAP/EZ-CARE/EZ-EDI applications and processes. He/she will be responsible for creating tools and applications to enhance corporate operations and ensuring that they scale to meet the needs of our rapid growth. As the lead/senior developer, will be responsible for supervision of Jr level developers, scoping out projects and leading the team in successful software projects. Also oversight of our business intelligence tool set.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and /or combination of work experience and education to meet the qualifications of the position.
· Minimum five (5) years of general managed care experience, experience in a health care organization or any combination of academic education, professional training, or work experience.
· Minimum five (5) years of management level experience, supervising staff
Skills
· Expert in .NET framework and development languages: C#, Visual Basic, Python
· Advance knowledge of MS SQL Server SQL- Hands on developer T- SQL stored procedures, Triggers and functions.
· Experience with source code control (TFS, Bugzilla, GitHub).
· Knows how to use SQL profiler and SSIS packages.
· Experience with loading, transforming and massaging SQL databases and tables and working with large datasets.
· Experience with industry standard software development life cycle (SDLC) practices
· Must have effective communication, facilitation, interpersonal and professional diplomacy skills.
· Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
· Able to Problem-solve, negotiate and demonstrate independent decision-making.
· Strong communication skills in both oral and written form.
· Positive attitude and takes a team approach to management.
· Familiarity with Microsoft applications, which include the ability to learn new computer systems and applications.
· Detail oriented with desire for producing work with 100% accuracy.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
· Project management
· Working Knowledge of Microsoft business suite products (Word, Excel, Access)
Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
