We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our legal team. Duties
- Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools
- Manage and organize legal documents through iManage and document management systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Support litigation processes including filing documents with courts, tracking case deadlines, and maintaining case files for civil and commercial litigation
- Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information for estate planning, family law, personal injury cases, and other practice areas
- Coordinate project management tasks to ensure timely completion of legal matters across multiple cases
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support to attorneys
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with familiarity in diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, securities law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and general & commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of procedural law and legal case management systems such as PCLaw and document review platforms
- Excellent research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word processing), document review software, and client communication platforms
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and liaising with clients or stakeholders
- Experience supporting attorneys in court filings, document management systems like iManage or similar platforms, and maintaining meticulous records

Pay: $800,000.00 - $870,000.00 per year
