Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to hotel standards
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect and treat stains on garments as necessary
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean and dirty linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their care instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads
Note: This position requires working with cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Training will be provided on proper handling procedures and safety protocols.
