We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in and around our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and address issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building components.
- Perform carpentry work, including framing, door and window repairs, and furniture assembly.
- Conduct painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic appearance of buildings and facilities.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure and hazard-free working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in building maintenance or a related field is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability.
- Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outdoor maintenance tasks.
