Position Responsibilities- Essential
· Consistently repair any die, fixture, or gauge independently
· Operation of toolroom equipment including mill, lathe, grinder, surface grinder, saw and drill press as necessary.
· Troubleshoot injection molding dies in the presses as well as in the tool room.
· Troubleshoot and maintain injection molding machines and other equipment.
· Use layout tools and equipment, ie: height gauges, Jo-Blocks, indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
· Complete all documents such as inspection list, preventative maintenance checklist, logbook, etc.
· Operate overhead cranes or other lifting means to move dies.
· Observes and complies with all company, federal and state safety and environmental policies and practices.
· Develops strong working knowledge of all relevant quality policies, procedures, and work instructions associated with the successful performance required by this job.
· Stop production at any workstation, as necessary, if safety is being jeopardized, or to correct quality problems. Any work stoppage must be reported immediately to the production shift supervisor, and quality problems to inspection or the Quality Manager
· Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
· Perform all duties independently with little or no supervision. Recognize and assist others as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience
· Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
· Experience with operating all toolroom equipment.
· Ability to read schematics.
· Ability to utilize multimeter.
· Ability to manipulate up to 90lbs.
· Be able to place or position parts on surface plates or other inspection equipment.
· Must meet the required standards for quality and quantity of work.
· Experience with SAE and Metric measuring systems and be able to convert between them.
· Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
· Must follow all safety requirements.
· Be able to lift, bend, twist, walk and climb as required to perform the job.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) with 3-5 years working in injection molding operations.
· Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology is desired.
