Traffic Dispatcher/Operator (Part-Time)
Looking to earn extra income or build real-world experience in public safety? We’re seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Dispatcher/Operators in a fast-paced emergency operations environment.
This is a part-time role within a 24/7 operation—ideal for students, professionals with weekday commitments, or anyone looking for consistent weekend work.
Schedule:
Shifts are 6 or 8 hours, totaling 12–16 hours per week, with day or evening options available, including:-
Friday: 3pm-9pm / Saturday: 3pm-9pm 1pm-9pm / Sunday: 3pm-9pm OR 1pm-9pm
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch responders and incident management resources using VoIP and push-to-talk systems
- Handle incoming calls from external partners and stakeholders
- Monitor and manage traffic conditions using CCTV, speed detection systems, and specialized software
- Communicate real-time updates to drivers via message signs and public information platforms
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic incidents and operations
- Perform remote checks of roadside equipment and report technical issues
- Support additional public safety and traffic management functions as needed
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with precision and consistency

Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience in public safety, traffic operations, or a related field
