Little Sunshine Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned practice that celebrates all forms of communication, honors each child’s unique learning style, and prioritizes connection over compliance.
Currently seeking a pediatric SLP to join us in providing local home health services in the St.Petersburg area. This position can be a temporary maternity replacement (until December 2026) or a permanent position.

Position Details:
- Age Range: Birth to 18 years old. (Almost all of our clients are early intervention-school-aged)
- Initial Hours: Part-Time and/or Full-Time Available
- Service Locations: St.Petersburg
- Service Settings: In-home, daycare, and private preschool/school settings
Qualifications:
- Licensure: ASHA Certification and FL State License required
- At least 1 year experience working with pediatric population (CF not available at this time)
- Must have a valid driver's license and Insurance
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must have your own professional liability insurance
Responsibilities:
- Flexible Scheduling: Arrange your schedule based on your availability and your client's availability - Company handles all client on-boarding and billing responsibilities
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments, prepare evaluation reports, and design timely plans of care
- Therapy Sessions: Administer tailored therapy sessions to address individual needs
- Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with other treatment providers and/or teachers when necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate records, track progress, and communicate effectively with parents and fellow providers - Company provides user-friendly platform for client and therapy management
- Education and Support: Offer guidance to families on communication strategies and techniques
Skills:
- Desired Skills: Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, experience with neurodivergent children, and proficient case management
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Preferred Experience: While experience in home health care is preferred, it's not a necessity.
