Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience in recreation, activities, or working with seniors preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and social activities for residents.
- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying abilities.
- Help with set-up, clean-up, and preparation of supplies and materials for activities.
- Escort and assist residents to and from programs as needed.
- Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that promotes resident independence and enjoyment.
- Document attendance and resident participation.
