Commercial Driver’s License required and experience working in the tree industry or landscaping strongly preferred.
- Drive vehicles and equipment to jobsite.
- Help set up the equipment on job
- Operate all equipment including chainsaws, chipper, etc. following ANSI safety standards.
- Upon completion of job use blower to clean decks, sidewalks, yard furniture and driveway.
- Drag/carry limb debris of various size/weight and feed it into the chipper.
- Check air filter, clean and change as needed.
- Inspect chains, change or file depending on dullness.
- Inspect bar for lips, bow, pinch, dirt in tracks
- Ensure saws start and run properly.
- Make sure that chain brake functions properly.
- Unload yard tools, saws, put out road signs if applicable.
- Assist in distribution of plywood when required for job.
