Farm/Ranch Hand - Full-Time
We are seeking a responsible, self-motivated full-time, live-in, Farm/Ranch Hand to help maintain private farm/ranch properties near Ashtola, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys rural family living, takes pride in their work, and is capable of working independently.
Responsibilities
- Property and grounds maintenance
- Cleaning equipment
- Mowing and weed control
- General equipment and facility maintenance
- Minor home and building repairs
- Pest control
- Painting and light carpentry
- Assistance with livestock chores and processing as needed
- General labor and other household or ranch-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with farm, ranch, or property maintenance preferred
- Basic mechanical and repair skills
- Ability to operate mowers, tractors, and common hand and power tools
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Current Texas driver's license and reliable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and meet other physical demands of the position
