We are seeking a reliable 3rd Shift CNC Manufacturing Lead to oversee our overnight production operations. In this role, you will balance hands-on CNC machining with team leadership to ensure we hit our nightly production targets safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Direct workflow, assign tasks, and support a team of 3-4 CNC operators.
- Machining: Adjust and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC Swiss lathes, O.D grinders and surface grinders according to blueprints.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose machine alarms, perform minor maintenance, make tool changes and adjust offsets.
- Quality Control: Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges.
- Safety & Shift Handover: Enforce safety protocols and deliver clear shift reports to the oncoming morning crew and upper management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of CNC machining experience is required.
- Leadership: 1+ years of experience in a team lead, supervisor, or trainer role preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, interpret G-code, and use precision measuring tools.
- Reliability: Strong track record of excellent attendance and independent problem-solving on off-shifts.
