Dog Daycare Shuttle Driver (AM Shift)

About the Role
Dogs True Dream is a wellness‑focused, balanced‑training dog daycare and hiking program. We are hiring a reliable, calm, and detailed‑oriented Dog Daycare Shuttle Driver to transport dogs safely from their homes to our center each morning and complete a structured vehicle reset routine afterward.
This is a consistent, independent morning role that supports the smooth start of our daily operations.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–11:30 AM (4 hours/day)
Responsibilities
Morning Shuttle (7:30–10:30 AM)
- Arrive at the center at 7:30 AM and prepare the shuttle van
- Follow a pre‑built route (no route planning required)
- Send ETAs and communicate professionally with clients
- Safely load dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Drive calmly and responsibly through Richmond, Oakland, and Alameda
- Return to the center and hand off dogs to the AM Center Handler
Vehicle Reset (10:40–11:30 AM)
- Complete a short daily safety inspection (tires, dash lights, supplies)
- Follow a cleaning checklist based on remaining time
- Vacuum, wipe seats, clean windows, sanitize crates, and restock supplies
- Report any vehicle concerns promptly
- Clock out at 11:30 AM
What We’re Looking For
- Consistent, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable driving and navigating Bay Area neighborhoods
- Confident handling all dog breeds and behavior types, including: anxious or nervous dogs
- shy or slow‑to‑warm dogs
- high‑energy dogs
- dogs using balanced‑training tools (prong, slip, e‑collar)
- Professional and friendly with clients
- Enjoys routine, structure, and checklist‑based work
- Takes pride in keeping vehicles clean and organized
- Works well independently and within a small morning team
