Salvo General Contracting is a family-owned company with over 40 years in the industry seeking full-time construction mechanics and workers for both commercial and residential job sites. SGC has a diverse clientele that includes property owners and property leasing/management companies. Job Requirements:
- Our standard work hours typically run from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime during evenings, weekends, and for emergency service calls.
- We value experience, but we are also open to providing training for the right candidates.
- Reliable transportation is essential, as it will be needed to carry tools and materials.
- We require basic hand tools or light power tools.
- Proficiency in using tools and machinery.
- The position involves a mix of indoor and outdoor working conditions.
- The job may require some physical labor, which could include heavy lifting.
- Strong communication skills are highly valued.

Experience in any of the following areas:
- General Contractor: Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Site Demolition and Clean-Up: Demolition and clean-up operations to prepare sites for new construction.
- Framing (Wood and Metal): Proficient in both wood and metal stud framing techniques
- Suspended Ceilings: Experience installing suspended ceiling systems.
- Drywall Installation and Finishing
- Window and Door Installation:
- Tile Flooring: Competent in laying engineered, vinyl, and ceramic tile flooring.
- Carpentry (Rough and Finish): Skilled in both rough and finish carpentry.
- Roofing and Siding: Experienced in the installation and repair of roofing and siding systems.
- Painting: Basic painting experience (interior and exterior)
- Plumbing and Electrical Basics: Knowledgeable in minor plumbing repairs and basic electrical work
- OSHA or IICRC certification is a plus but not required.
