American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a surgical center in Danvers, MA, requiring strong orthopedic and cataract surgery experience along with Epic proficiency.

Primary work location is a 4-OR ambulatory surgical center, with occasional travel to a secondary hospital campus featuring 10 OR suites
-
Services include General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine surgery
-
Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgery is required; spine experience is a plus
-
Must be able to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases
-
Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), with the possibility of staying later if cases run over
-
32 hours per week
-
On-call shifts may be assigned 2–3 times per schedule period; call shifts are 11p–7a on weeknights or 12-hour shifts on weekends (7a–7p or 7p–7a)

30-minute on-call response time required

Floating to a nearby affiliate campus may be required

Epic EMR experience required

13-week assignment

Active MA RN license in hand at time of consideration

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1–2 years of OR nursing experience with strong orthopedic and cataract surgery background

Experience scrubbing DaVinci Robotics cases required

Epic EMR experience required

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Flu vaccine required prior to start; personal and religious exemptions are not accepted

COVID vaccine and booster required; medical exemptions are accepted

MA RN license must be submitted at time of consideration

Previous travel experience is preferred but not required

Candidates who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the past 6 months are not eligible
