Duties
- Candidate has to be 18 years and up.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies.
- Conduct child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques.
- Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain detailed records of each child's development and activities.
- Provide toddler care and support children through transitions, fostering independence and social skills in a caring setting.
Skills
- Strong experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings, including classroom experience with toddlers.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, childhood development principles, and standardized testing methods relevant to early education.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork with colleagues.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and hands-on activities to stimulate young minds.
- Experience working with diverse learners using Montessori or other specialized teaching methodologies is a plus.
