DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides professional nursing care to individuals who rely on skilled assessment and treatment. It involves working with a team to support physical, mental, and emotional health needs. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:
- Nursing Assessment: Evaluate the physical, mental, and emotional status of consumers
- Care Planning: Develop and adjust treatment plans using nursing standards and facility guidelines
- Medication Oversight: Administer medications and monitor responses to treatment
- Team Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and share important observations
- Safety Practices: Follow crisis prevention, infection control, and safety procedures in all care settings
- Staff Guidance: Provide direction, support, and education to assigned personnel
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Positions are available on 2nd shift, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a 30 minute lunch.
- Rotating schedule, work every other weekend, and holidays as assigned.
- 2nd shift receives $1.25/hour shift differential
- New hires may be eligible for a $1,000.00 Retention Incentive Payment, provided you meet all criteria outlined in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- May change based on operational needs.
- Overtime: As needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Special Requirements:
- This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
