Lead a Growing Service Team
PG Long is seeking a motivated and hands-on Carpet Cleaning Manager to lead the daily operations of our carpet cleaning division. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing technicians, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting the continued growth of our cleaning operations.
The successful candidate will not only manage the team but also become proficient in the carpet cleaning process, serving as a trainer, mentor, and resource for current and future technicians. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service while maintaining operational efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, train, coach, and supervise carpet cleaning technicians.
· Coordinate daily scheduling, routing, and job assignments.
· Perform carpet cleaning services as needed and maintain expertise in company processes and standards.
· Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets company expectations.
· Build strong customer relationships and effectively resolve service concerns.
· Oversee maintenance and proper use of cleaning equipment, vehicles, and tools.
· Manage inventory levels for cleaning products, chemicals, and supplies.
· Monitor operational performance metrics, job completion rates, and team productivity.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
· Two or more years of carpet cleaning, floor care, restoration, or related industry experience.
· At least one year of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience.
· Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
· Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical job duties in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
