Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete inspections on heavy equipment in the field
- Service a wide range of machinery,as well as general construction equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete routine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating at peak performance
- Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to assess components such as engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Take apart and rebuild equipment and components while following manufacturer standards and best practices
- Reference technical documentation, schematics, and service instructions to complete work accurately
- Identify required parts and materials, coordinating orders as needed to complete repairs
- Accurately document completed work, inspections, and maintenance activities according to internal processes
- Maintain a professional presence when working on-site or interacting with customers
- Communicate progress updates and job status with internal teams and customers
- Travel to job sites as required, with overnight travel expected up to 20%
- Participate in an on-call rotation
