Job Overview
We are seeking a capable Industrial Project Manager to support and report to our Lead Project Manager while independently handling a variety of projects. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience who can run their own smaller-to-medium projects with minimal oversight, while collaborating with the Lead PM for guidance on larger or more complex initiatives.
You will manage bidding, planning, execution, and closeout of industrial projects involving wastewater treatment systems, structural steel, process piping, water well installations, and facility maintenance/upgrades. The position offers a strong balance of autonomy and team support in a growing family-owned business.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage smaller-to-medium projects from bid through completion, including scheduling, coordination, and delivery.
- Prepare bids, cost estimates, and proposals for industrial work (with review/support from the Lead PM on larger bids).
- Develop project plans, schedules, material requirements, and resource needs.
- Oversee on-site execution for assigned projects, including structural steel, large-diameter piping, mechanical installations, and related work.
- Troubleshoot field issues, manage change orders, and maintain budget control.
- Serve as the primary client contact for your projects while keeping the Lead PM informed on progress and challenges.
- Coordinate effectively with internal fabrication/repair teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure safety compliance, quality standards, and documentation on all job sites.
- Support larger projects led by the senior PM and contribute to overall team workload.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on project management or coordination experience in industrial construction, mechanical/piping, structural steel, wastewater, or similar heavy industrial work.
- Proven ability to independently run projects while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Experience with bidding/estimating and reading construction drawings (blueprints, P&IDs, specifications).
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in both office and field environments.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to travel locally to job sites.
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in wastewater treatment, large-diameter piping, steel erection, or food-grade industrial facilities.
- Experience with heavy equipment repair, fabrication, or commercial well installations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
