Duties
- Greet customers with enthusiasm, providing exceptional service and product recommendations.
- Assist in food preparation, including baking, assembling pastries, and restocking the sales floor.
- Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and freshness.
- Ensure all food handling complies with safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment, display cases, and workstations.
- Restock shelves with freshly baked items and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Support catering orders and special event setups by preparing baked goods according to specifications.
Experience
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling practices.
- Kitchen or restaurant experience that demonstrates knife skills, food preparation, and cooking abilities is advantageous.
- Experience working in the food industry or catering environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
