Lions Wireless, an AT&T Authorized Retailer, is hiring a motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Wireless Sales Consultant for our Vernor Highway location in Detroit.
In this role, you will assist both English- and Spanish-speaking customers with wireless plans, smartphones, accessories, internet services, and other AT&T products. This is a performance-based sales position with strong commission opportunities and room for advancement.
Compensation
- Hourly base pay of $16–$55 per hour, based on experience
- Commission based on individual sales performance
- Estimated total annual compensation of $45,000–$75,000
- Uncapped earning potential
- Actual earnings will vary based on hours worked and individual sales performance
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in both English and Spanish
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate AT&T products and services
- Sell wireless plans, smartphones, accessories, internet, protection, and connected devices
- Complete new activations, upgrades, account changes, and device transfers
- Explain promotions, pricing, billing, and account information clearly
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
- Follow up with customers and sales opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of current AT&T products, services, and promotions
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business
- Maintain store appearance, merchandising, and inventory standards
- Assist with opening, closing, and other daily store responsibilities
Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers in both languages
- Previous wireless, retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a commission-based sales environment
- Motivated by sales goals, performance, and earning potential
- Ability to learn new technology, products, and promotions
- Reliable, professional, and able to work well with a team
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as scheduled
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
