About the Role
Superior Lightning is a growing commercial lightning protection contractor serving projects throughout Texas. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator / Business Development Manager to help expand our business by preparing competitive estimates, developing relationships with general contractors, and identifying new project opportunities.
This is more than a traditional estimating position. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping grow the company by managing the estimating process, tracking upcoming commercial projects, building relationships with customers, and contributing to our long-term growth strategy.
Experience in commercial roofing, electrical, or commercial construction estimating is highly preferred. Prior lightning protection experience is not required—we will train the right individual.
This position offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role within a rapidly expanding company.
Responsibilities include:
- Review commercial construction plans and specifications.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
- Perform quantity takeoffs.
- Track and pursue new bidding opportunities.
- Develop relationships with general contractors, owners, and project managers.
- Follow up on submitted bids.
- Work closely with company leadership to improve estimating processes and drive business growth.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
