American Producers Supply is looking for a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver to work at the Brooklyn, Heights, OH - EXPANDING OPENING A NEW LOCATION
Worker Worker/Delivery Driver Job Duties:
- Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from customers as needed.
- Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs.
- Assists in shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- May assist in counting physical inventory.
- Prepares parcels for shipping.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assists in maintaining appearance of branch as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, etc.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Complete all required delivery driver paperwork.
Physical Demands and Abilities
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to and exceed 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years previous experience in warehouse, delivery driving, or other related fields preferred.
· Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry.
· Must be able to efficiently navigate basic computer functions.
· Forklift experience a plus.
· Customer service driven.
· Must have a clean driving record.
· Ability to handle physical workload.
