About the Role
As an Activity Staff Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities designed to promote socialization, hobbies, and interests among our residents. This may include arts and crafts, games, sports, outings, and other recreational programs. You will work closely with our activities team to ensure that all events are well-planned, well-executed, and enhance the overall quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and lead a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, outings, and other recreational programs
Develop and implement creative and engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
Collaborate with the activities team to ensure seamless execution of events and programs
Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback
Develop and manage activity budgets, ensuring responsible fiscal management
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a senior care setting, preferably in activities coordination or a related field
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
