Join our IT team as an Entry-Level IT Service Desk Technician and kickstart your career in technology while making a real impact! In this role, you will work under direct supervision to apply your foundational technical knowledge in support of IT initiatives and provide Tier 1 systems support to our user community. You’ll be responsible for logging and managing support tickets, resolving routine technical issues (incidents), and fulfilling standard service requests while delivering exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions. As a valued member of the IT Service Desk team, reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, you will support end users with their equipment and applications, leveraging strong troubleshooting abilities and a service-first mindset. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual eager to grow their technical skills while contributing to a team dedicated to delivering reliable, responsive, and high-quality IT support across the AMHR user base.
Schedule. This position is fully Onsite/In-person. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Salary for this role. The starting wage is based on experience and company equity. Paid bi-weekly.
Essential Functions:

Performs basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for department users using ITIL framework.

Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.

Performs routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.

Maintains and updates record keeping system.

Assists with tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials; performs data entry and maintenance of records.

Performs routine technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems.

Assists with the installation, configuration, repair and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.

Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and/or systems.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Provides account access and password resets to end users

Handles request fulfilment for end users.

Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform other essential functions of the job
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
-
At least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

1 to 2 years of demonstrated customer service experience.

1 year experience in a support role.

Experience in a help desk role to answer phones and communicate with end users.
Required Vaccination and TB Test.
