We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing various construction efforts in both public and private sectors. The Civil Project Engineer will work closely with the project team to ensure that all engineering designs, plans, and projects are completed to the highest standard. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to apply them to real-world situations.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop civil engineering projects based on the requirements of the client and the project.
2. Utilize advanced software tools such as StormCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
3. Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
4. Prepare and present detailed reports and design documents.
5. Oversee construction and maintenance activities at project sites.
6. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
7. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on project design and implementation.
8. Evaluate potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
9. Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as local and federal construction standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project engineering.
3. Proficiency in using engineering software such as StormCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
4. Proven track record of managing all phases of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
5. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
10. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
