We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality in food and service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory control processes to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management to meet operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous.
- Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices.
- Experience in bartending or casual dining settings is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both staff and customers.
- Experience in hotel or catering environments is desirable but not mandatory.
