We are looking for a qualified Two’s Teacher who is responsible creating a nurturing and responsible environment that meets children's individual needs. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the curriculum, developing professional relationships with families, and assessing the individual needs of the children in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for toddler children
- Offer a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Use and prompt positive guidance techniques
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience as an early childhood educator
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Friendly and reliable
- Certification in child CPR
- Early Childhood Criminal Background Qualification Letter
- Valid licence to practice profession
