ElderFIT is seeking certified personal trainers around the U.S. with 2+ years of one-on-one training experience to join their in-home senior training marketplace.
ElderFIT’s online marketplace connects trainers to ElderFIT senior customers for in-home fitness sessions. As an independent contractor, you decide which customers to work with, control your schedule, set your own pay rate, and get mileage reimbursements.
ElderFIT is expanding rapidly to meet the growing demand for in-home fitness care training for seniors. ElderFIT trainers help seniors deal with declines in mobility, loss of functional strength, and chronic diseases that can be improved through higher levels of fitness.

Trainer Compensation:
- Set your own rates, schedule and receive mileage reimbursements.
- Flexible work environment. Accept or decline clients as you choose.
- Get paid fast within 2-5 business days of each completed client workout session.
Responsibilities:
- Use ElderFIT’s platform to create your own trainer profile on ElderFIT with pictures, bio, rate, proof of active personal trainer certification(s), and professional trainer liability insurance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to ElderFIT customer requests for in-home training on the platform.
- Conduct in-person questionnaire and assessment to determine the degree of mobility and strength of each senior client.
- Develop and implement custom fitness programs focused on strength, balance, and flexibility for senior clients.
- Conduct in-home personal training sessions.
- Provide expert guidance on injury prevention and safe exercise techniques for older adults.
- Fill out notes on client progress inside the ElderFIT platform, as well as adapt workouts to evolving needs, and offer ongoing motivation.
- Build trust and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service for ElderFIT clients.
Requirements:
- Must provide proof of current certification from an NCCA-accredited organization (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
- CPR/AED certification (current or obtainable before starting).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, with proven experience working with senior populations.
- Must provide proof of own up-to-date personal trainer liability insurance.
- Proven ability to manage a calendar with multiple in-person customer training visits.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and adaptable coaching techniques.
- Knowledge of age-related health issues and exercise adaptations.
- Must have a current driver's license and ability to drive to client locations around your community.
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide past references.
