Duties
- Design and develop comprehensive curricula, including lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia content, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and standards.
- Utilize instructional design models such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create effective training modules.
- Manage multiple curriculum projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholder feedback to meet deadlines.
- Incorporate SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) standards into e-learning modules to ensure compatibility across Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Develop engaging instructional content optimized for platforms like Blackboard and Adobe Captivate, enhancing learner engagement through interactive elements.
- Facilitate professional development sessions for educators and trainers to implement new curricula effectively.
- Provide ongoing support through teacher coaching and instructional leadership to ensure successful curriculum implementation in classroom settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or related roles within educational settings.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex development cycles from concept to delivery.
- Technical proficiency with LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar systems; experience with Adobe Captivate is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of learning technology tools including SCORM packages and other e-learning standards.
- Demonstrated ability in adult education principles, teacher training, and professional development facilitation in schools or training environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace for content creation and documentation purposes.
- Experience in classroom teaching or instructional leadership enhances understanding of practical teaching needs and learner engagement strategies.
