Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Closet and Media/Accent Wall Installer to join our construction and remodeling team. This role involves installing custom closets, media walls, and accent features that enhance interior spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and finishing work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and work efficiently on various projects. Candidates should be committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install closet systems, media walls, and accent features according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise installation.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Perform framing, drywall finishing, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed for seamless integration of installed features.
- Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations throughout each project phase.
- Assist with site preparation, demolition, or restoration work as required for specific projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry), and fixture installation.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco application, concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, water damage restoration, mold remediation, remodeling projects, cabinetry installation, door hanging, construction painting, CNC fabrication or assembly is highly desirable.
- Prior work in the restoration industry or with specialty finishes such as water damage restoration or stucco is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and construction sites.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation tasks.
- Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings relevant to custom wall installations is preferred. Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
