Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities
● Expertly diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
● Maintains leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
● Maintains an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact
● Performs routine service inspections and tests and lubricates engines and other major components
● Repairs vehicles that run on gasoline, electricity, or alternative fuels
● Adapts to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications
● 2+ years experience as an automotive technician
● ASE Certification / Automotive training (preferred, not required)
● Valid-unrestricted driver’s license
● Strong technical knowledge
● At least the age of 18
● Desire to grow career & technical skills!
