Dental Surgery Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: $20–$26 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday 7:30 am till 5:00 pm)

About the Role
United Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Surgery Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Stockbridge, Georgia.
This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of surgical scheduling and ensuring a seamless patient experience from consultation through post-operative care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty environment.
This position serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff while supporting efficient schedule management and treatment acceptance.
What Your Day Looks Like

Coordinating surgical consultations, treatment appointments, and follow-up care

Managing provider schedules to maximize efficiency and patient access

Communicating with patients regarding treatment plans and appointment preparation

Collaborating with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members

Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining required authorizations

Supporting patient case acceptance and scheduling completion

Maintaining accurate patient records and appointment documentation

Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey
What You'll Do

Review and manage provider schedules to optimize operatory utilization and patient flow

Coordinate all aspects of dental surgery scheduling, including consultations, pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative appointments

Communicate pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients

Monitor schedules to minimize cancellations, downtime, and scheduling conflicts

Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for treatment

Maintain accurate patient information within practice management systems

Respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient office operations

Follow established office protocols and compliance requirements
Requirements
-
Experience in a periodontal, oral surgery, implant, or specialty dental practice
- Experience coordinating surgical procedures
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
- Experience obtaining insurance authorizations
- Knowledge of dental terminology and specialty procedures
