About Curex
Curex is America's largest online allergy and asthma immunotherapy clinic, treating patients across all 50 states through a national telehealth model. Our clinical portfolio spans sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) for environmental and food allergies, eczema management, nasal sprays, compounded GLP-1s for weight management, and the full range of supportive care that goes with them. We're backed by strong investors, growing rapidly, and looking for an operator who can own the clinical support function as we scale.
The Role
The Clinical Operations Lead is both a senior contributor on the MA team and its working leader. You'll stay close to the clinical work, handling a meaningful share of triage yourself, partnering directly with providers, and keeping a finger on the pulse of patient care, while leading and developing the three other full-time MAs.
This is a blended role that balances hands-on clinical work with team leadership. The exact mix will flex with what the team needs on any given week; some weeks will lean more operational, others more managerial. We're looking for someone who enjoys both sides and brings steady judgment to whichever one is in front of them.
What You'll Own:
Clinical Triage
You'll personally handle complex clinical queries that come into our queue across every service line, SLIT and SCIT side effects, GLP-1 patients reporting concerning symptoms, eczema flares, lab results that need provider attention. You're the senior clinical judgment on the team before things escalate to a provider.
Provider Partnership
You'll be on Slack and in EHR with providers & patients every day building real working relationships, learning how each provider likes to be approached, supporting them in delivering great care, and flagging anything that needs leadership attention. Because you're in the work, you see it first.
Team Leadership
Lead the three other full-time MA’s: day-to-day coaching, workload balancing, 1:1s, and training. You'll own hiring for team expansion, with support from the COO on higher-level strategy and comp decisions.
SOP Ownership
Keep the MA playbook current and coach the team on it across SLIT, SCIT, GLP-1, eczema, nasal sprays, inhalers, lab orders, PAs, refills, and the full triage framework.
Cross-Functional Touchpoints
Day-to-day liaison with providers, pharmacy partners and the tech team on EHR and DoseSpot issues.
Metrics
Track team-level KPIs: triage accuracy, response time, renewal completion and surface trends to upper management.
