We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Post-Op Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapist Specialist to join our dynamic wellness team. Duties
- Perform post-operative lymphatic drainage massage tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring safe and effective treatment protocols
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
- Educate clients on post-op care, pain management strategies, and self-care practices to enhance recovery outcomes
- Utilize advanced massage modalities such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health techniques as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical observations in compliance with medical standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold strict sanitation and safety protocols, including CPR certification and adherence to medical terminology standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a focus on post-operative or lymphatic drainage therapy
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to lymphatic and muscular systems
- Prior experience working in med spas or clinical settings specializing in pain management or rehabilitation is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and progress updates
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health practices
- Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in medical massage techniques are a plus
- Knowledge of patient assessment procedures and customer service skills that foster trust and comfort
