Duties
- Assist bartenders by maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock bar supplies such as alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
- Support food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks, and handling bar prep.
- Bus and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar or dining area promptly to maintain cleanliness
- Operate Toast POS system to ensure accurate cash handling and order processing
- Uphold food safety standards by practicing proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is highly valued
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Skilled in using POS systems like Toast for cashiering and order management
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience with bussing, serving, or catering enhances your ability to support diverse guest needs
- Kitchen experience or barista background is a plus for understanding beverage prep and food presentation
