Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and handle cash register operations
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling products to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas regularly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process retail sales, and manage food service customer orders with professionalism
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure timely food preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by serving guests promptly, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Previous food preparation or quick service restaurant experience preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean work environment
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing sales accurately
